You can now update the game to Ver. 13.0.1.
Update Details
The latest software version is needed to enjoy the following features:
・ Game balance adjustments have been made. Please see the official website for details of fixes and changes to fighters.
・ Support for amiibo figures of Samus and E.M.M.I. from Metroid Dread (sold separately) has been implemented.
Note: You can receive a spirit of each amiibo by going to "amiibo" in Games & More and scanning the figures. The Samus (Metroid Dread) amiibo can be used as a Figure Player.
・ Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.
Compatibility Issues
・ The latest software version is required to enter Online mode.
・ Local wireless play is not compatible with Ver. 13.0.0 and earlier. All players who want to fight in local wireless battles need to make sure they have the same software version.
・ Replays from Ver. 9.0.0 to 13.0.0 may not be compatible with the latest software version. Replays from Ver. 8.1.0 and earlier are not compatible. If you want to keep your replays from Ver. 13.0.0 and earlier, convert them into videos before installing the update. You can do this via Vault → Replays → Replay Data → Convert to Video.
How to Update
1. Highlight the software on the HOME Menu and press the + Button to open the options menu.
2. Select "Software Update", then either "Via the Internet" or "Match Version With Local Users".
